Federal Tax Credits for Consumer Energy Efficiency 

Time is running out for the federal tax credits for consumer energy efficiency. Roofing and insulation both qualify. Here is some information to get you started. 

Roofing and Insulation Tax Credit

 

Tax Credit:

30% of cost up to $1,500
Expires:
Must be installed by December 31, 2010
Details:
Must be an existing home & your principal residence. New construction and rentals do not qualify.
